Welcome to my site

My name is Mike Hestness. I am a applications developer living in Bothell, Washington. I currently work at Compucom/Excell Data in Bellevue, Washington developing and maintaining applications built in Microsoft's .Net framework.

These applications are used to track the candidate application process from discovery to employment and other staff management functions.

I am the father of 3 children, Athena, Arielle and Nicholas. I also have a step daughter named Ashley. You can see pictures of the children in the gallery section. There are also photos of other family members as well including Matriarchs, Pearl Nash Wescott and Marilynn Austin.

In my spare time I have an obssesion with Pianos. I refinish, tune, regulate and play them. I currently have three pianos packed into my apartment of which I'm sure my kids think I am crazy. The pianos I currently have are a 5' Bush & Lane grand piano (Dark Walnut) and a 5'9" Bush & Lane grand piano (Mahogany) and a Knabe Mignonette console (Walnut).
